The Illinois State Board of Education recently gave Grove Children's Preschool its highest distinction for the ninth consecutive year. (Shutterstock) DOWNERS GROVE, IL — For the ninth year in a row, Grove Children's Preschool has earned a gold rating from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). This is ISBE's highest rating and is given after a school is audited during visits. 'Earning the Gold Star rating for eight consecutive years is a testament to the passion and hard work that defines our preschool staff,' Preschool Coordinator Susan Dillon said in a statement.
