Dia Nichols is the incoming president of Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care, a role in which he will oversee 11 Illinois hospitals, the system announced Sept. 13. Mr. Nichols' appointment is effective Sept. 25. He will report to Bill Santulli, president of Advocate Health – Midwest. Mr. Santulli reports to Advocate Health Co-CEOs Jim Skogsbergh and Gene Woods. Mr. Nichols succeeds Dominica Tallarico in the role. As Advocate Health Care president, Mr. Nichols will oversee 11 hospitals and 300 sites of care.
